Every now and again making big additions to an app is just fun. Fun as in “really hard work like running the marathon” kind of fun, but still fun. Coming features in the next Japanese Kanji update:

• 6500+ detailed animations built in.
• Fast forward / rewind each stroke (with a 1 or 2 finger tap).
• Writing practice with an animated guide (configurable).
• Correct stroke direction, order and position detection.
• Background shadow gradually disappears as you improve.
• Replace main kanji with a mini inline animation (optional).
• New study options: writing and audio.
• No in app purchases, ads, etc, because that’s how I roll.
